Alabama Safari Park presents Safari of Lights

Enjoy the beauty of the Safari Park at night as your drive through a mile of thousands of sparkling lights!

Dates: Saturday, December 14th - Sunday, December 29th, Closed Christmas Day
Time: 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
$10 per person

After your drive, enjoy an illuminated walk through Candy Cane Forest.
Visit all your favorite farm animals in the petting area, enjoy games, complimentary hot chocolate,
family photo opportunities with Santa
on December 21st, 22nd and the 24th from 6-9pm.


Safari of Lights Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: If I buy a ticket for the Safari Park do I have to buy a different ticket for the lights?
A: Yes, Safari of Lights is a separate event. The Park will close and empty as usual at 4pm. Admission from the day will not count towards Safari of Lights admission when it re-opens at 5pm.

Q: Are children under 2 years old free?
A: Yes, children under two are always free.

Q: Is there a charge for taking pictures with Santa?
A: No, there's is no charge.

Q: Can we drive through the lights more than once.
A: Yes! Guests may drive through the lights as many times as they like.

Q: When will Santa be at Safari of Lights? Where is he located?
A: Santa will be at Safari of Lights for three nights, including Christmas Eve. December December 21, 22 and the 24th from 6-9pm. He is located in the Walk-About area after the drive thru portion.

Q: Will all the animals be out? Can I feed the giraffe?
A: For the health and safety of our animals, most will not be visible at night. The giraffe will be tucked away inside their warm barns and the budgie aviary will be closed. The petting zoo animals will be out and guests can feed them if they wish.
