Midsummer Safari Market
Get ready for an adventure like no other as we dive into the wild wonders of World Giraffe Day and World Camel Day! Make plans to attend the inaugural Midsummer Safari Market Friday, June 21 through Sunday, June 23.
The event kicks off Friday, June 21 to celebrate World Giraffe Day with Behind-The-Scenes tours, keeper chats and wagon rides. The Safari Market takes place on Saturday and Sunday.
Giraffe encounters will not take place during Midsummer Safari Market. Instead, we are offering very special $15 tours where you'll hop aboard an exclusive wagon ride and go behind the scenes on as you travel to meet and greet our reticulated giraffes. You will learn about their personalities, favorite treats, and daily care. You'll also get to check out our very cool custom giraffe trailer. The tours are approximately 45-60 minutes with the wagon ride and include food for the giraffes.
The $15 tour fee does not include admission to the Safari Park Drive-Thru or the Safari Village. A portion of the proceeds goes toward the noble cause of the Giraffe Conservation Fund! The behind-the-scenes tour is suitable for call ages. An adult must accompany children under 12 years of age. There is limited availability, so please purchase your admission tickets* and tour passes early!
After you take in the sights and sounds of the safari. Indulge in a tantalizing array of treats from our lineup of food trucks. Or you can explore the Safari Market. Local vendors will be selling a treasure trove of unique gifts, crafts, and merchandise. Can you think of a better way to kick off your summer?
